The Valley View Junior High School Band is proud to team up with Market Day for a monthly fundraiser.Market Day offers a wide selection of over 180 foods ranging from meats to vegetables to desserts that customers love for their quality and convenience. Orders can be placed online and food is picked up on the scheduled date in the Valley View Junior High Cafeteria in Farmersville, Ohio. Valley View’s eighth grade band and choir participated in the Music in the Parks competition over the weekend in Loveland Ohio. Both groups earned top ratings and recieved trophies during the awards ceremony Saturday evening. The eighth grade band recieved third place in Class A, and the eighth grade choir recieved first place in Class A and first place over all Middle School Choirs. To top off the weekend, Valley View’s band and choir received the competitions top award “The Esprit de Corps”, given to the school who exhibited the most team work, respect, manners, and spirit within the groups.

Final Information regarding the “Music in the Parks” performance was sent home today with the students. Please note that there was a change in the performance venue for 8th grade choir. Both groups will now perform at Loveland High School on Saturday morning. Please follow the link below to view the document.
Music in the Parks – Final Information
We hope the Spring Season is off to a good start for all our students and families. We wanted to pass along a quick reminder about our upcoming concert season for the end of the year. Please mark your calendars and invite all your family and friends to join us.
6th Grade Band, Choir, and Tone Chimes-Monday May 13th at 6:00 pm in the Intermediate Gym
7th and 8th Grade Band and Choir-Tuesday May 14th-Both Choirs will perform at 6:00 and Both Bands will perfom at 7:30 in the Junior High Gym
